ABOUT DJIM VERVAART

Learned from life, by living it

My journey began early. As a child, I sensed a lot β€” from myself and my surroundings β€” but I couldn't always place it. I constantly asked "why?": why do I feel this, why do I react this way, why does a place or situation feel right or not? They weren't just mental questions; it was also about energy, atmosphere and intuition. That search for truth, peace and clarity became the foundation of my work.

2004

Before I entered healthcare, I had dozens of jobs and started and sold multiple businesses. On the outside it went well, but after a few years I always felt the same: something is missing. I wasn't just looking for success, but meaning. Something in me knew I wasn't built to "just keep going", but to deepen and understand.

2009

Over 15 years ago I took a big step: I founded my own healthcare company, Zorggroep Ervaar-Anders. I felt deep inside that care could and should be different β€” more human, more honest, with more attention to what someone really needs. During those years, alongside healthcare, I also worked in business: restructuring teams, sparring with CEOs, directors and managers. What I saw there was the same principle: if the foundation is off (person, system or environment), noise arises. And noise costs energy.

2014

After five years, a client asked me: "Djim, what you do is great, but how can we do it ourselves when you leave?" That was a turning point. It sharpened my mission: making knowledge transferable. I wrote my first book "Imagine Circles" with worksheets and descriptions. Later I also developed games to repeat and anchor insights. All with one goal: helping people learn to feel, choose and act themselves.

2024

In 2024 there was a completion. The MEA β€” Method Ervaar Anders came together as a mature whole in that period: clear, usable and solid. The theater shows I created also felt like a call to close a chapter β€” a period in which I gave, explained and passed on a lot. From there, the next step emerged: Energetic Alignment. Not as "something new", but as the natural deepening of everything I already lived: working with balance in people and places, and restoring what has gone out of alignment.

2021

Demand for my approach grew. I converted my knowledge into a program to reach more people and give structure to what I had been doing in practice for years. At the same time, it became clear: my work is not just about behavior and thinking, but also about alignment, energy and inner truth. That part became increasingly leading.

Deep inside I've always known

That I was destined to do something great in my life. Despite my search and the many paths I've walked, I never felt I had fully reached my destination. I often asked myself: "Is this all?" Every time a chapter in my life came to an end, a new chapter began with new challenges and opportunities.

What I've discovered is that one constant always returns in all these phases: my desire to share. Sharing who I am, sharing what I've learned, and above all: being allowed to be who I really am. To be able to do that, I had to learn to embrace everything I've experienced. I cherish the positive experiences, but also the moments of fear, anger and sadness.

As a child I already felt early on that atmosphere and energy really exist β€” that a space can do something to you, even before you can explain it. That sensitivity later didn't become a burden, but a compass. It helped me look more honestly: what is mine, what is from the environment, and what asks for restoration?

I'm grateful for the people who crossed my path, with whom I could walk along and whom I could inspire to put themselves first. Those encounters shaped me and brought me to where I am now: ready to share my story and help others find their own path β€” in themselves and in the places where they live and work.

Taking responsibility for your life, that's what it's about!

Taking responsibility means: stop searching outside yourself and start choosing from your own line. Not waiting until it "feels better", but learning to see what is true β€” and acting consistently on that.

DO YOU KNOW YOURSELF?

To really get to know yourself, you have to be willing to make choices that are fully aligned with who you are. That requires honesty. A mirror. Does what you're doing now really make you happy? Does the outcome of your day give you satisfaction β€” or does it feel like something is missing?

And do you dare to look beyond just behavior? Sometimes it's not just in your head, but also in your system: tension, restlessness, overstimulation, emptiness. When you get to know yourself, you start to recognize what is yours and what you've taken over from your environment.

Your growth really begins when you stop just experiencing and start consciously choosing what truly nourishes you.

AND ARE YOU YOURSELF?

Being yourself is a real challenge. It requires courage, guts and strength. But above all: willingness to stay honest, even when it chafes. Because being yourself sometimes means: setting boundaries, choosing differently, distancing yourself from what doesn't fit β€” even if others don't understand.

An environment that understands and accepts you helps, but you're the one who has to carry it. During your journey of discovery to what really belongs to you β€” your own thoughts, beliefs and feelings β€” it's crucial that you learn to experience: you are good as you are.

And from there something special happens: you no longer have to prove yourself. You become calmer. Clear choices. Less noise. More you.
